Poem Of The Week – Nostrovia! Poetry, Prose, Writing, and Word

This weeks poem of the week is Alice by Siddhartha Pierce.  It is a brutal poem about the abduction and rape of a young girl.  It tells a tale of this girls post abduction struggles.  It doesn’t scratch the surface and shirk details.  It goes in depth.  It screws a story deep inside your head, twisting and slowing diving deeper.

Richard Adam’s Fairy Tale  21/10/11

Warren fleeing hlessil
Wanderers, scratchers, solitary bucks
Rabbits above ground
Bones in history, scratch and sniff
A 1000 times better nose than man With their white mouth-sticks
Joy in untroubled, as was God’s intent
Only rudiments of thought
Translated from thought to pen by Dostroevsky
Then to Lapine by Richard Adams
by Jeremiah Walton
