Concrete Meat Press publishing poetry of emerging and established poets. They’re a UK based publishing press, and publish through chapbooks, broadsides, and a magazine called “Concrete Meat Sheet“.
Currently seeking submissions for issue 14 of Concrete Meat Sheet, this press bashes down the door of the ordinary in poetry. You can read previous issues free online to get a feel for the type of poetry they’re seeking (this being something you should do before submitting to any publication).
On Concrete Meat’s list of previous chapbook publications is Too Much Me (David Barker), On The Back Porch (Ronald Baatz), In The Darkness of Night (Lyn Lifshin), along with a handful of broadsides and e-publications.
They’re not seeking submissions for books or broadsides, but Concrete Meat Sheet is an interesting magazine worth checking out. I’m currently organizing my submissions for them.
Cheers! Hope you enjoy!
