Bottlec[r]ap Volume 2 Call for Submissions

Submissions are now open for volume 2 of Bottlecap Press’s lit/art zine, Bottlec[r]ap, which is available *online* and *in print*. Submissions for volume 2 will last until January 31st, 2015, and we’ll be releasing this volume in February. We’re looking for poetry (up to 5 pieces), prose (up to 1000 words), comics (up to 5 pages) and visual art (up to 5 pieces). We’re also accepting film, music, and interactive media submissions for the digital version. There’s no specific theme, but we lean in the direction of the eccentric and like to shoot for a wide variety of material – the only requirement is that all submissions be alarmingly, frustratingly, artistically human. Above all, it’s a soapbox for alternative voices in the arts and writing communities.

We *will* be charging a 5 dollar submission fee this time around so we can afford to give paperback copies to the folks who get their works accepted (or possibly even longer subscriptions depending on how many submissions we get.) This small fee helps keep Bottlec[r]ap running and helps to make it as great as it can be. It can be paid via paypal *here*, or if you prefer a different method, please email Once the fee has been paid, please send your submission to for consideration 🙂
